Caregiver/ Housekeeper (Lakeway) 

compensation: $20/hour based on experience plus benefits, paid vacation, & health insurance 
employment type: Full Time

expected schedule :5 Days a week- Monday – Friday 8am- 3pm ///

Minimum of 6 hour daily- max of 40 hours a week. Some weekend work may be requested.

MUST LIKE DOGS! 

We are seeking an experienced Housekeeper and Caretaker. The position is multi-faceted with various responsibilities. The majority of this position, 80%, is caring for the household and home, while the other 20% is caregiving for the couples elderly mother who is 92. Her mind is sharp, but she is in a wheelchair and needs help and supervision when the family are away. Though the home is only occupied by 3 people and has 2 beautiful friendly English Bulldogs, the large home (8,000 sq. Ft.) does require cleaning to maintain.

Various responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

Throughout the Day and Weekly Task:

• Prepare breakfast for elderly mother
• Assist elderly mother with shower 
• Care for the family pets- 2 English Bulldogs 
  1. Feed/ medicate/ care and weekly baths
• Occasionally cook and Prepare meals for elderly mother 
• Tend to all Bedrooms by making all beds daily
  1. Change all bedding weekly
  2. Picking up and tiding 
• Tend to all Bathrooms as needed
  1. Cleaning of Shower, Toilets, Sink, Countertops, and Floors
• Ensure kitchen is clean daily 
• Laundry as need- including ironing
• Cleaning of Floors- vacuuming & mopping 
• Cleaning of Garage floors
• Clean windows as necessary 
• Uncover large patio furniture when requested
• Clean large patio with grill & pool cabana restroom 
• Water plants inside and out
• Bring packages/deliveries inside
• Take large trash cans and recycling to the curb weekly

Other Expect Task: 

• Provide conversation and companionship.
• Take elderly mother to any doctors appointments as needed. 
• Grocery and household shopping when requested
• Run errands 

Requirements:
 Must have a min. of 3 years as a housekeeper or caregiver, consisting of long-term durations
 Pass a national background check

English Speaking

Reliable transportation and maintain insurance coverage
 Track record of dependability and stability
 Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
 Regular COVID testing

Assist mother with showering and dressing

Assist getting mother up in the event of a fall
 
Preferences:
Live in or near the Lakeway 

CNA, HHA, or comparable experience

Must love animals and can feed and play with dog when family away
