SERVICE TECHNICIAN - (ROTARY) AIR COMPRESSOR

Service Technician Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repairs of air compressors, dryers, filters, and related compressed air equipment.
  • Troubleshoot electrical diagrams and machine faults to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Provide technical service, start-ups, and evaluations for various compressed air products.
  • Maintain accurate written records, including evaluations, recommendations, and reports using service software.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and contribute to growing our sales and service business.
  • Care for and maintain company vehicles to ensure safety and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to achieve goals.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

Service Technician Qualifications:

  • Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service and consultative abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation with minimal supervision
  • Clear and effective communication skills with various stakeholders
  • Thorough understanding of products and equipment used in manufacturing.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Ability to travel within territory (rare overnight)
  • Previous field experience working on compressed air equipment is highly desired.
  • Demonstrated work history of 2 to 3 years with a service-based organization.
  • Must possess a valid, unexpired driver’s license with clean driving record.
